It was early morning for Wayne N0POH, Joan KB0YRX and me, Glenn KE0UWC to meet with other Rocky Mountain Ham Radio members as they converged on Monument Colorado to set up for the 2024 PPRAA Megafest. Just after 6 am, David W0CBI, Dave WA1JHK, Mark N0OHJ, Mark N7CTM, Carl KM6HRW and Desiree N3DEZ, Tristan NM0TH, Paul K0WSU, Chris K0SWE, Mike K0NGA, and Dean K0MKT, moved treasures from the trailer to ten long tables in the Lewis-Palmer High School gymnasium. The treasures ranged from experienced equipment such as Hallicrafters receivers to components like project boxes and capacitors. Several hams found items which recalled memories from their pasts and a few bought items to make new memories. Many hams bought other items to use in their ham shacks. We were able to find wonderful homes for many pieces of equipment. It was great to see members Jeff K0RM, Jeff KD0MDP, Jeff K0JSC, Mike K7AIH, Amanda K1DDN, Dirk N2PDQ, Rob N0RPF, and Doug K0BRA who helped with the table sales and provided support for our estate sale to benefit the family of W5ETC (SK).
