RMHAM Fox Hunt April 14

Rocky Mountain Ham Radio will hold it’s first high-power training fox-hunt.  It will be on Sunday April 14, 2024 and the fox will go live at 8AM.   The transmit frequency will be 147.555MHz.  It will be inside of a box bounded by Parker Road on the west, Quincy on the North, Powhaton Road on the East and Arapahoe Road on the South.  The fox will be transmitting tones for 15 seconds then ID W0VG/FOX and start over.  We are hoping that this will be a good learning activity and if you would like to be paired up with another ham that has done this, please contact w0vg@arrl.net.  If you’re a seasoned DF’er, drop him a note and indicate if you’d like to have a trainee!  We will have a limited number of spare antennas and radios, if you need one, please contact W0VG early.

Thanks to Tristan Honscheid, here is the map of the subject area.

If you have questions, or get lost, John Maxwell will be available on 303-709-9388 or on DMR Central.
