In getting ready for the PPRAA Megafest on July 27, RMHAM conducted a work day to categorize items, test equipment and prepare to sell everything from the W5ETC (SK) estate. Doug K2AD, was our host as we went through the items and provided wonderful refreshments and lunch. Thirteen participants worked to help complete the task over the course of several hours. We got to see a lot of ham radio history and equipment from various decades which will be for sale at the MegaFest. While we still have a few tasks to go, such as loading the trailer to transport the treasures to Megafest, we are hoping to find great homes for all the items. Hope to see you at Megafest and maybe you’ll find something you can’t do without while you’re there!
